I picked up an as new CZ453 from a buddy who bought it on the exchange here a little while back. I first off have to say that this is the nicest 22 I have ever shot. Comfortable and just insanely accurate.
The first problem I have noticed though is that once in a while while cycling the bolt, it decides to just come all the way out. This happens about every 30 to 40 rounds. Not a huge problem but very annoying when it happens.
Of greater concern, today I was teaching my son how to shoot. I loaded a round, put the safety on, passed him the rifle, and then as I was watching his hands he flicked the safety off and the gun fired. His fingrer was no where near the trigger. I could see it perfectly. I then took the gun from him and tried it for myself. I loaded a round, put the safety on then off and on the second time around sure enuff it fired. Finger nowhere near the trigger.
Have any of you CZ owners out there experienced anything like this?
Where should I start to look for a solution to this?
I don't want to get rid of it since I still feel that it is an excellent rifle despite the trouble.
