Hi Guys,
Could anyone give me some pointers regarding the rings that are needed for the CZ 455 to clear the bolt handle? Manufacturers part number would be great.
Thanks in advance, Jim.

Much depends on the scope you are mounting. Is it a Nikon? If it is you may need high dovetail rings to allow the high bolt throw to clear. If not there are a lot of medium rings that should do the job with scopes that don't have an especially large ocular bell.

Burris rimfire highs gives you tons of clearance, mount virtually any scope. They are a drastic step up from the mediums which I do not think would be suitable for anything above a 9x40. They really should make something inbetween medium and high.

Burris Signature Rimfire 1" (P/N 420554) clears the bolt with a Leupold VX-2 Rimfire 3-9x33mm EFR scope. This is the ultimate combo for my 455. I am not a fan of high mounted scopes/rings.

When I bought my CZ 455 American a few years back I stopped in at the local Wal*Mart and bought a pair of Weaver 1" Tip-Off mounts, if there was a height on the rings I forget but they are not very tall. However the bolt handle clears the Bushnell 3X9 in the back and front bell doesn't come in contact with the barrel.

Leupold scopes is the only scope I could ever mount on a CZ. They're eye piece are the smallest with their rimfire scopes eye piece being the smallest. Its the only scope company you can get away with using mediums for their standard scopes and even lows on a CZ as long as its the VX Rimfire. Everything else just looks goofy.

I think these rings pictured are too high

Note how I think there should be a size between burris medium and high, and these rings were bought for a scope with a larger objective that would not have worked with the mediums. Pic was taken at a time when I was trying a different, proven scope when trying to figure this rifle's accuracy issue. I knew they'd be higher than I needed but after being to three different stores with no luck these were the only ones I could be sure would fit the scope. I'm fine with them.
