cz 455lux or sako quad

My 455 American is outstanding. It's real purrty and shoots better than I do. I have 3 barils (17hmr, 22lr and 22wmr) I have to many rifles to buy so I liked the idea of a single gun with different barils for all my rimfire needs. Cost was 575$ for gun with 2 barils and I bought the third baril a few months after for 200$. The sako quad with all barils will prolly end up costing you at least 2x that. Actually just checked and Lebaron has the quad with all 4 barils for 2000$. I have never heard of anyone unhappy with their CZ.
Actually, at 2k$ you could get yourself a Anschutz which is way better than either of these.

I had the Sako quad in the 22 mag. This rifle was very accurate. No complaints there but I sold it because I found the frame a little small and purchased a the CZ 452 lux instead. This rifle fit me allot better. I also have the CZ 455 lux in the 22 lr. This rifle is a treat to shot and enjoy using it's iron sights for plinking...
Love my 455.
Needed a trigger job - $20 and 10 min of your time.
Iron sights are good. Magazines are expensive. Mine does not like hollowpoint ammo. With a $100 scope (3-9x40, tall rings), shooting blazer, i can plink shotgun shells at 75 yards 10 for 10 all day long. Very well built. Mine gets lots of abuse -- tossed in the back of the pickup, goes snowshoeing on my backpack, gets wet all the time. No problems, i do clean it well and oil to high heaven though.
