I hear a lot of buzz on the 22 rifle and it is sought after by may target shooters. Does in come in different barrel lengths?

Sure does!
Cz457 comes with different stocks and different barrel profiles and lengths. And it is an incredibly reliable platform for any new shooter. I would say the best one for the money, with a huge aftermarket support.

^ ^ If you want accuracy for bench shooting, the Varmint (heavy barrel) Match (Chamber with ca CIP minimum specs) Target Rifle (VMTR). These run ca $1500-ish and is very good in that price range. There is a 'new' model coming soon - the CZ 457 Target - with an MSRP ca $3K, no definite dealers 'in stock' yet AFAIK. And the MTR Chamber is avail in a few other models if you prefer a more 'conventional stock' rifle. If you add another $500+ you can get 'custom' barrels that swap-in easily and can get your groups well under 0.3xx inches.

I have the older 452 Varmint and it is the other love of my life lol! Put many rounds down and when my eyes went the rifle scoped well. Lots of add ones possible of decent quality from a variety of vendors. Enjoy if you get it.
