CZ 527 Varmint/Target Rifles VS Remington 700

Maybe right tjhaile comparing to the Remingtons made today but go back to the 60s & 70s Remington was making some nice rifles

Yeah, if you like pressed checkering in a fleur-de-lys pattern and white line spacers.

Brno Mini Mausers (the direct ancestor of today's CZ 527) from the '60s and '70s were still nicer rifles than Remington 700s of the same vintage.

I have a Rem 700 .223 that shoots really well. I'm quite happy with it.

I had a similar debate and went Euro.....CZ550 Varmint in .308. It's my first rifle and I think it makes me look pretty good as a shooter. lol

I got it from a small dealer in Alberta, he has another one in stock that I know of.
