Hi!
I'm in the market for a precision riflen in .308 caliber at the moment.
I took the CZ 550 Varmint Laminated and the Remington 700 Varmint Laminated Stock into consideration.
They can be seen at CZ (http://www.cz-usa.com/01.detail.php?id=21) and the Remington at (http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/centerfire_rifles/model_700/model_700_VLS.asp).
Have any of you tried these rifles? Which one would be the better quality gun. I am aware that there are more aftermarket parts for the 700 and I am not quite convinced of the scope mounting system of the CZ either.
Feedback would be very much appreciated.
Thank you!
Carl
