CZ 600 Alpha 7.62x39 CGN promo - $354 discount + free ship!

I got one from International Shooting Supplies, only came with one mag, but was packaged with 200 rounds of Winchester brass cased FMJ. When I opened the box of ammo, it was actually reboxed PPU which is quite nice ammo. Price was 799.00 for the package. I love this little gun, great shooter that you can shoot all day without abusing your shoulder.

Okay, I made it to the range at the end of the day and here are the results with the three types of ammunition that I have on hand.

I forgot to bore sight the gun at 50m, and I fired one shot with Hornady SST that was 6" low & 3" left, I adjusted the scope & fired another shot dead centre about 1/2" low.

So out too 100m I went... I aimed for the centre target & printed that 3 shot group using the Hornady SST ammo. I switched to ChinaSport (lol) and fired the two bottom left & right groups. And finally broke out the Sellier & Bellot, printing the top left group, adjusting the scope & shot the top right group.

The steel cased Hornady SST feeds & fires fine, I should have shot more groups with it... Next time

The steel cased ChinaSports was another story. Some cartridges chambered fine, others were tight & one would not chamber at all! Never had these troubles with this ammo & my SKS lol... Anyhow, if you needed to, the ammo would do in a pinch and the deer would likely never know the difference?

And finally the brass cased Sellier & Bellot fed & fired beautifully! It printed the two top 3 shot groups on the target, which made me VERY happy!

Cheers
Jay
P.S. ALL the ammo requires the shooter to bring the bolt to the rear with a bit of authority to cleanly eject the casings.

For factory, the S & B rounds are great! Can be sub moa ... 25.5 grs RL7 + SSTs are slightly under ... it is a pleasure to shoot ✔

Is there anyway to touch up the coating on these? I had to reset the bolt and when putting into the rifle, I nicked a small amount of coating off. Barely even used force. Super soft coating that’s for sure.

A black sharpie, wiped off before it's perfectly dry would likely match the lighter then black carbon color closely.... you might have to do it a few times and play around a bit.
It's not a protective coating but it would keep you from noticing or thinking about it...... :)
