CZ-75 Kadet

My Kadet is accurate and reliable. Compliments my CZ Combat 85, very well. One .22 I'll always keep.
Don't know why they are so much more than your typical "75", but well worth it, IMO.

I recently bought one and am very satisfied with it. It runs well with any type of ammunition I have tried, provided I take care not to let my support hand thumb brush against the slide. An Uplula tool can be modified to use with the magazines, which will save considerable wear and tear on your thumbs.

Likely because the slide is formed from two pieces. And two rather tricky to make pieces from what I saw. And the other reason may be the very limited production compared to the regular 75.

Mind you since they are so much more I'm still left wondering.

They work great, and are very accurate.

Issue I had is that it really makes a poor trainer for tactical stuff if you do clearing drills, or anything to do with the slide.

Because it is not a full slide, and just a little strip to grab onto, it is very different from your regular 75, or shadow.

Overall a very good gun, and has the feel, and weightof the real gun down to a T.

That said, I think the new S&W MP22 is a better value for your money in such a gun.

I believe production has ceased on the Kadet, however, the Kadet Kit will remain in production. Installing a Kadet Kit on a cZ gives you two pistols. My Kadet Kit is accurate and functions flawlessly.

Probably a better value anyways....

Kadet Pistol is about $1000 give or take.

You can buy a used CZ75 for $500 and get the conversion for $500 and have both options.

excellent pistol, its very accurate, it stays very clean, it will cycle any 22 ammo....so its not ammo fussy like many are, its easy to clean, you can easily upgrade the hammer to a competition hammer which makes the trigger second to none. Only down side is cost, but like anything good you do get what you pay for. I cannot think of a single reason not to buy one.

Trying to find a Kadet conversion kit is like finding the last golden ticket! Very rare.

I would like some help finding one new or used. I have been looking for the last 3 months...........anyone know where I can get one from please.

:)

I recently bought a Kadet kit for my CZ 85 combat. On my first outing I put about 100 rounds through it with no feed, fire or eject malfunctions. The only issue is the slide will not hold open on the empty magazine. Unfortunately I called CZ-US to see what can be done and all they succeed in doing was irritating me. They could not have been more disinterested in me, their customer or their product.

Hey, don't want to hijack the thread but I was wondering something a few days ago. For the owners of the Kadet conversion kit, or any other conversion kit for that matter, what is the safe storage requirements for one of these? Is there a requirement to lock the case or put a cable lock through the barrel?
