I just bought a CZ Shadowline gun from Canada Ammo. Gun was in my hands within 7 days thanks to Canada Ammo and CFO BC. The gun comes set up as follows:
Aluminium Checkered Grips
T-20 Torx head grip screws
Advanced Ergonomics, Beavertail Etc
No firing pin blocks
SP-01 shadow sights
Fiber Optic Front Siht 1.5mm Diode
Modern competion hammer shape
Double action trigger weight 10.4 lbs
Single action trigger weight 3.10 lbs
Slide stop (pre relieved)
Old Style 85 Combat Trigger (Less Curved then Shadow)
The guide rod is unfinished carbon steal (SHORT)
Standard shadow recoil spring (weight unknown)
D style thin Rami style safety’s
Extended magazine release
Smaller 75 diameter barrel .500
Complete upper weight is 15.4 oz (our 75 shadow 1.6 lbs)
Slide weight 11.5 oz (our 75 shadow 12.6oz)
Slide profiled at front like CZ 75
Weight of the whole gun 2.5 lbs
If you only change the mainspring to a 13 lbs the trigger weights become 3.4 SA 7.5 DA
I would prefer the wider standard safeties on the gun but other than that it is a performer. I am going to install a 13# mainspring on the gun to reduce the weight of the very smooth and crisp trigger. Other than that after 200 flawless rounds the gun shoots like a laser and hits POA using my 125 gr 356402 cast boolits over 4.1 gr of 231 which is my IDPA load. What could be better.
I prefer the looks of the CZ's without the FLDC and have no use for a light mount on a gun so this pistol is exactly what I always wanted CZ to produce. I think it balances better than my old Shadow and is lighter. The Aluminum thin grips really improves the grip for me and the gun is noticeably thinner than my 85 Combat with it's rubber stock grips. I may have to spring for a set of the grips for my Combat.
Take care
Bob
pd I will post pics of the gun and targets over the next couple of days
