CZ-75b STainless

Lol didn't mean it like that..

Instead, I thought you're like me and forgo some luxuries like digicams and clean underwear for the acquisition of restricteds.

I'm pretty close to being that bad, but I'm not there yet. I find it far easier to justify a new scope over a digital camera. Plus when I buy something I like to buy really good stuff, unfortunately with electronics they're obsolete in a few weeks. So the money is better spent on a new firearm or glass for it :D At least that's what I keep telling myself.

The ATV was the big luxury. This has made me limit my gun purchases (well not really). Here's a picture of my money pit by a good photographer with good equipment :D.

Anyone changed the rear sight on a CZ75b SS? I can't make up my mind: I prefer the look of the SS but I really want the adjustable sight of the 85 Combat....

Nope, I've left mine as is. I also like the adjustable sights on the 85 combat. I bought the stainless, because I like the look, the corrosion resistance, and the fact that there aren't as many of them out there. That being said the best CZ I've shot is the SAO, ISP designed one. I think the new version is the "tactical" something or rather. It's about $1200. Fantastic trigger, excellent pointability and very accurate. It was a real joy to shoot. Also adjustable sights ;). If I were to buy another CZ, that's the one I would buy.

Why do the CZ pistols in this post look more like hard chrome than stainless steel? Is it just me? Regards, Richard:)

They look like polished stainless steel to me. I would bet that it takes more work to get that finish so I wonder why they don't mention it in the descriptions. Most companies seem to want to brag about every extra step that takes more manufacturing time.

Tks Epoxy7,
From what I see on CZ website the gun looks ugly. That being said I might change my mind if I get to handle it..... Moreover, 1200$ is a bit over my wallet since I'm shopping for a first 1911 in the same time.

put some black grips on it, and high vis sights. It looks sharp then.
More importantly it sure was fun to shoot. The trigger was fantastic.

Personally I think I'll be saving up for the Sig 220 competition and then a Sig X-five. But.... the CZ was pretty good. It shoots a lot nicer than my Stainless. I happen to like my stainless but given the choice I'd rather shoot the CZ-75 Tactical Sport.
