That conversion sure doesn't take long. Might need another gun to add to want/need list. That list never seems to go away, no matter how many I buy.
Actually we provide various barrell lengths (whereas the 477 and 473 lenghts - CSA and CZUB - are coverred with just one barrel length)... Since the chamber is not part of the barrel, it is easy enough to switch.
BTW: The conversion kit can be used for the .223 caliber as well - for those, who owe the 5.56 NATO version...
15.5 inch full stocked VZ58 in .22lr..... sounds non-restricted....
I was going to suggest that if the caliber change was performed, and rendered permanent, by means of a weld(s), could the classification of the restricted 15.4" carbine be downgraded to non-restricted?? (that would be cool)
Actually, even those super short VZ's could be downgraded to non restricted if the folding stock gets fixed permanently in the open position, or the wooden stock gets installed.
