Yes, but you would have to pay $1,285.00 for those parts and I just would not sleep well if I charged you that much just for parts, no I am thinking. I am sitting by the wood stove, my dog at my feet, sipping a Scotch, and I am re- reading Sun Tzu. Tomorrow is another day, stay tuned! :)

Unfortunately the stars haven't lined up very often for your business to have seen very much of my money, but I wanted to take a second to thank you for everything you do for the firearms community as a whole. It doesn't go unnoticed and it certainly doesn't go unappreciated. Thank you.

If you're looking to recoup losses and still have the Spartan rifle in your possession, you should sell the bolt carriers and wood furniture as a package. I think most of those who own the currently non-restricted CZ858 Tactical would LOVE to install those parts on our guns as a
big F U C K Y O U to the RCMP and their political masters. I know I would.

I'm in.

techniquely... we just need a new receiver......

+300$... 1585$ total..... not bad for a ''Come and take it'' CZ858 !!!

just saying....

That might not be a bad idea, I am just afraid they them any new receiver to be a cz 858 derivative as the wr762 as ben hold up at the lab for a good while. But if it vould be done I am shure they would sell, even if only the supplemental premium would be paid to support you guys. But yeah I do think that this is setting an important precedent that should be fought, I signed the petition put up by Faith Goldie and aldo I never do this ,I would contribute to a go fund me to fight this in court.

I'd like to get a metal stamping of the Greek helmet, Molon Labe logo and Canadian maple leaf that I could heat up and burn onto the wood stocks of my red rifles. Would this mean that they would all then be restricted?

No, It would make it prohibited because it could possibly make it fully auto after the logo is applied.

Take one of the old rifles that are non restricted and swap the wood with one that is prohibited. Take them back to the RCMP with the original paper work from the first batch that passed. Now ask the people who made this bad judgment call and ask them witch one is prohibited and witch is non..

Yeah if one could source beacer barf or even cheap plastic furniture and re-paint the part with the logo. I mean they can't have all the serial number.

They are not dumb. They were specifically prohibited from doing so by this.

Which Goodale allowed them to do again. This BS is coming top down from Goodale to Paulson to FRT lab.

So i laugh at all calls to write Goodale who is a mastermind for all this anyways.

I agree with this assessment. It is quite likely the RCMP brass sat with Goodale and staffers on his appointment to begin the drafting of new legislation.
I'd say the CFOs know what is in the works as the Manitoba office gave Wolverine the heads up to suspend the release of sales until a classification ruling. This ruling shouldn't suprise anyone and it is likely tied to the hammer that is about to fall on firearms ownership in this country. With this Liebral majority showning an unwavering willingness to ram-rod through extremely poor policy, it isn't a question of if they will gut firearm ownership, but when. The courts are our only option, and this needs to be fought tooth and nail.

They'll say they're both prohibited.

thanks to mikethebike for these

Lets also be clear on something else as well.
I can't find anything but assumptions and panic on the forum re this. This is what I've come to understand from reading the multiple threads:

The CZ858's of long ago were prohibited by the RCMP because (after years of them deeming it non restricted) they found the receivers were at one time made to be full auto but shipped assembled as semi auto config only. They make them prohib overnight despite 10 years of them being non restricted and no issues at all.
Conservatives pass OIC to make the newly prohibited CZ858's that were already in the country, non restricted again.
We then tried to import new rifles of the same type by the same manufacturer but this time with newly made purpose built receivers so as to avoid the same issue as before.
The RCMP then greasily decided that these newly made receivers then required a new FRT (essentially making it a "new" rifle so they can run it through their magical lab) and examination at which point they obviously come to the conclusion (well in advance of actually receiving the rifles I'm sure..) that these are prohibited because these new receivers are still easily converted to full auto
.

Am I wrong with this assumption?
There's a lot of confusion and wild speculation just on this forum alone. I'd like to make sure I understand it fully before I start sending letters and contacting MP's, yet again.

After approx 8,000 CZ 858 had been sold the RCMP changed the classification to prohib. The Government announced an amnesty and then approx a year later the Government re-confirmed them as non restricted (or restricted if short barrel) this was not limited to those guns in Canada, this allowed us to resume imports. We imported another 400 after this and sold them with no problem.

The issue now with our last shipment is because of the fancy wood furniture and engraved bolt carrier the RCMP have decided these are a different model “Spartan” and not the CZ 858 Tactical-2P so they are not covered under the “deeming regulations” so they are prohibited. We made an error with our first advertising which mentioned “Spartan” I was away at the time and had not proof ready the copy, this was corrected with in approx 36 hours.

The receiver's on the CZ 858 from the last shipment are identical to all previous receivers on the CZ 858 Tactical - 2P
