I got the idea from Flabalob and with out his help I would have never of got this working so thanks Flobalob.
I first bought a Ak47 scope mount with SKS rail which I had to weld on a
1/4" peice on steel to allow the mount clear the reciever.
I then filed and sanded the mateing surface to make it mount fit straight on the gun so it would not be canted. I the machined a 1/8" groove on the bottom of the mateing side to clear the lower legde of the reciever.
After that I had to drill the pilot holes (3) though the rail and then used the rail hole as a jig to drill the reciever holes. BE careful and give your self lots of space to play with, you dont want the screws getting in the way of your firing mech. Also pull the trigger and see if anything is in the way when you do that.
Once that was done I tapped the rail and drilled access holes for the firing pin, selector and sear axis pins. Just in case you have a problem with the trigger mech, then at least you wont have to take the rail off to fix it.
Last of all l had to cut off the front over hanging weaver rail to allow stripper clips to work and to make sure the ejecting caseing would not hit anything.
