### Gun Lover said:The stocks the wrong shape for the rifle. It looks like someone would prefer to have an AK than a CZ so they tried to make it look like one. The CZ stock is the shape it is as that shape is what works best. Anything that detracts from functionality for purely asthetic purposes is a gimmick and not classy.
Homesick Alien said:I was just going to post about this very thing - I didn't notice it much before putting on the Dlask muzzlebrake but it seems to be that because the muzzle is pushed down, the stock snaps upwards and smacks my cheekbone - it's still a little sore from Sunday's TacMatch

I only wanted to try to get a little more out of the stock for eye relief, didn't really care that it looked like S**t. I can throw the press board stock on anytime anyway.

Ljungman said:To each their own, but your right about one thing, I'd rather have an AK. But even if I had an AK I wouldn't leave the presswood buttstock on the CZ, espeshally with WOOD furiniture. I'd go for the folder then.
All and all though, you put an AK stock on a CZ with optics, I'd be wiling to bet it be more comfortable to shoot with. Look meaner too![]()

Homesick Alien said:And for the sake of not hijacking this thread I'll add that I wanted to put a rail on replacing the rear sight but now looking at what some of you guys have done I'm seriously considering the receiver mount option.
One question, does the side mount method leave the optic offset at all? It's an important factor for me as a lefty...
