When do you figure these will become available? And how much for each respective model?
If that was going to happen it would have taken place already when they went after the 858's.Great shooting. Will likely add this one to my collection. I remember Can Am too, before all the dealers disappeared not long afterwards.
There is only one thing that somewhat concerns me; it's got nothing to do with the rifle - the rifle is more than I could have asked (well maybe a Dragunov style stock).
It's the possibility if the RCMP doesn't approve these rifles, what that might that mean for the Vz58 and others on the 'ok' list?
Time will tell soon enough.
jim.
You guess correctly.I'm guessing this takes the old 858s mags.
Can we get this in wood like the Canadian edition?.I love that rifle .

I hope so; the last CSA I bought from John made this rifle series one of my favourites.
And to those concerned about the furniture - there's lots of after-market stuff floating around.

Hey gents, great looking rifles and I love the old-school stocks...
When they do go up for sale, would I be able to get a tactical model (as I want the open sights) with the fixed buttstock of the hunter model?
Willing to pay extra if this is the case, please let me know.
Thanks.

Selling tem with the beaver barf makes room for a suave entrepreneur to start selling solid wood furnature. Shouldn't be too hard, just take the beaver barf down to a wood shop and have them start pumping some out. I would freaking LOVE to see someone start making aftermarket laminate furnature sets like the timbersmith AK stuff.
