After I disassembled my cz for probably the 20th time, I tried to seat the bolt carrier back on the rails and it wouldn't go fully onto it, upon further inspection my bolt seems locked to the carrier. I cant move the striker, the bolt or anything on it. Anyone wanna help an 858 newbie out.

This may seem like a silly question but I had a brain fart once and forgot to do this, may or may not help in your situation...

Did you pull the trigger?

Sorry maybe I didn't explain correctly. The bolt is inside the carrier, detached from the rifle altogether, and I cant for the life of me get the actual bolt out or move the striker, or anything, even seat the whole thing back in the rifle. I can shake the whole unit and the firing pin is the only thing that moves.

THIS is not the problem. I know how to disassemble and assemble the rifle, but the bolt is stuck in the carrier! You can't pull the striker like he did or remove the bolt from the carrier! Tried dropping it on carpet and it stayed locked. I thought this was an easy mistake but maybe I should change the thread title....

TO BE CLEAR

The bolt is attached to the carrier, detached from the rifle, unable to seat back in the rifle, and locked/stuck to eachother. The striker, the bolt, and anything else on that unit is unable to move at ALL. Please I got plans to head to the range christmas eve :)

Try spraying it with a ton of lube then whack it with a rubber mallet. Doesn't sound like it can get any worse.

Some photos or video of your dilemma would be a lot more helpful here.

I cant rotate the striker it is pushed in as deep as it will go and can not be turned. Would pictures be any help, I could try to post some of something specific if it will be helpful.

Yes, take a rubber mallet and a wooden dowel and knock the striker out a bit. Once you get enough room on the other side of the striker bang that side with the dowel and mallet. Happened to me once when I didnt seat it properly when putting the carrier back into place.

Try not to hit it with a hard object. Instead get a rubber mallet and tap the bolt on the bottom. As you do not want to damage the bolt guide rails.
I thought that you did not know that the striker had to be rotated in order for removale. This is why I posted the youtube video.
Also next time ensure that you can slid the bolt back and forthe before placing in the striker and assembeling the rifle.

Where abouts on the thing should I hit with the mallet. I dont want to force it in locked further. Striker wont come out with mallet and dowel.

I really hope this isn't a huge deal, I don't even know what I did to make this happen.

I'd hit it on the end of the striker where the spring goes in. By the looks of your picture, you have a MM or so of room to move it forwards. Lube everything up before you hit it, that way when it moves the new surfaces touching each other will be slick.

If that doesn't work, tap the bolt towards the striker. But be careful, look at the bolt rails often to see if you are marring them.

it looks like you jammed the bolt into the carrier when trying to ride it forward a lite tap on the bolt itself towards the front should loosen it. make sure your bolt carrier is fully seated before trying to ride it forward.
