Let me address the elephant in the room.
If you have a Bren2 NR in x39, would you use it to shoot corrosive surplus ammo??

Oddly enough this clip inspired me to run my 5.56 under the tap super hot water to flush all the powder that got everywhere in the receiver and trigger/mag well. Followed up with a spray down with moose milk (1:10 Ballistol to water) and it never looked cleaner lol.

Cleaning out corrosive or black powder residue would be same. Moose milk to neutralize. Cleaning out the gas system is the main thing.

I started rolling 7.62x39 but doesn’t seem too worth it and may run surplus.

i do a full strip and clean take the barrel out and gas system fully appart and run boiling water over all the parts lube and reassemble

I am only one in Canada who signed up for one. Marstar called me and explained why they had to cancel project. Hope enough members show interest on here and it gets off the ground. #1 Ammo is third of price as .223, #2 Ammo is big enough to hunt with in provinces that .223 is a varmint control round only. -#3 Ammo is readily available in large quantities and used by the majority of countries that could possibly invade us.

Is Russia not mostly using 5.45x39? Maybe they ran out.

We're looking at making a run of CZ Bren 2 7.62x39 Non-Restricted rifles, similar to what we're doing with the .223 Wylde version.

Caveats;
Checking out on the website will place an authorization on your card for the firearm.

Delivery is estimated between Mid August and Mid September.
