CZ Bren 2 MS in stock

I am not clear of one thing. If I buy the pistol ones that IRG is selling right now and they all don’t come with any stock, will it says Restricted rifle on my registration, or will I have to buy a stock from IRG as a requirement for IRG to register them as rifle?

Despite the pictures, IRunGuns has said all the firearms will be registered as restricted rifles, with buffer tubes and stocks.

As per this post, you will have to purchase a stock at least that's my understanding from what they posted

These will be registered as restricted rifles as almost everyone has purchased a buffer tube and rear stock. You can also take the stock and buffer tube from your current AR platform and use it in the provided Mil spec stock adaptor.

Happy Easter.

That’s not how it works, the FRT is for a rifle so they will be imported as a rifle
If for some reason someone sends one to the RCMP to review and create a new FRT for a pistol that would allow them to be imported as a pistol but right now that is impossible

For those of you who bought one from IRG and did not get any stock from them. If you buy your own stock from CZ parts and install it yourself, do you need to inform CFO of the OAL change?

OAL is irrelevant to Restricted firearms. Barrel length is everything. Unless you are installing a new 18.5" Barrel to have the rifle de-Registered, there is no need to involve the CFO. The CFO certainly doesn't care about you adding a Buttstock....

Ok thanks

Any chance IRunGuns could re-sell some of HB Industries Bren 2 accessories, like the 7.62x39 mm Stanag adapter (XCR pistol mags) or 1913 stock adapter? Ordering direct with the CBSA in the warpath could be dicey, and people may be willing to pay a bit of a premium to have IRunguns deal with importing the items.

Edit: Credit to BFiles for posting about the Stanag adapter on the main Bren 2 thread,.https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/2262523-So-whos-buying-a-CZ-Bren-2-MS-Its-non-res-!?p=18846407&viewfull=1#post18846407 .

Where is everybody getting pricing on the NR version? I’m trying to find a carbine version but seemingly nobody is bringing those in.
Will Irunguns be getting any Carbine models?

With the $1300 NR tax the other vendors are tacking on to the 18.6" these are looking more attractive.

It's more around 900$

some dealers have the NR for CA$3,699.99 Restricted at 2850

Buy the Restricted then wait for Dlask Arms to pump out NR barrels

The carbine models are restricted too since they come with a 16” barrel, the NR version is a custom made 18.5” barrel specifically for canada so it will be a while until they have enough made to justify a shipment

Yessir, I want the carbine so the handguard will be a better fit when it gets rebarrelled. I think that stock is nicer than the shorter barrel options also.
