You're not wrong however the flip side of that is Marstar commits to a date (in good faith) and something outside of their control happens which causes them to miss the target.

Suddenly everyone is pissed and technically they didn't do anything wrong.

Walking a fine line with this type of thing.
 
I'm glad I missed getting on board with the conversion. I was hesitant because I didn't want the US version and would have been a little upset with it. I know others are okay with the USA version, but I would rather miss out on the Bren 2 entirely if they are banned before CZ can deliver than to get the US version.

Just out of curiosity, what are your issues with the US version vs the direct from CZ version?

Not trying to be rude, but I guess he is just been jealous and could not take the fact that he missed this as he was in the preorder list but was too late to act on confirming the conversion. Lol. He was last seen complaining about how Marstar handling this change, now he finally talks himself out.
 
I understand there are some slight differences but it sounds like they are cosmetic and could be rectified with aftermarket parts. I would rather have one that i could alter or modify to my liking now rather than hope the factory ones come in before this government makes any more changes. But that's just my opinion.

I'm not against this idea as I am in the market for one for sure but it may be cleaner / easier for Marstar to simply offer them for sale separately as opposed to navigate who wants one and who doesn't.

Either way though would be nice.

The longer hand guard is a must have IMO.

On CZ's website they've shown a version of the OEM handguard which is full picatinny on the bottom, if it could be inquired about when you talk to them it would be appreciated!

WTF is your problem? All I said that I would rather miss out, then get the US version converted.

I didn't say anything positive about Trudeau, and I'm looking forward to day that he gets kicked out of parliament. I'm not for the bans and I'm all for current restrictions to be removed or drastically lessened. So I don't see where your comment came from.

You should go back and read the update where Marstar clarifies that there's no difference between a Bren direct from CZ or one that came through the US other than a stamp. Seriously, go back and read. I've personally read every post on this thread and am very satisfied with how this has been handled by all parties. Looking forward to getting mine soon!

Well the CZ Bren short barrel ones straight from Europe have flip up irons and the twisted flash hider. The 16” US ones don’t come with flip up irons and have a single port muzzle brake. I would love to trade the muzzle device with anyone who wants the brake. The 3 prong flash hider looks much cooler imo.
 
Those are fairly easy issues to rectify relatively cheaply
Ply. Especially when you consider we are all dropping 4k on a fun toy.

Ew.

I sad I missed the first batch because it’s the American 16” version. That handgaurd is way nicer than the Czech Military style ones.
