I can't seem to get either LAR or Crossmags to lock in with a closed bolt.

Load 9 in the mag or insert the mag with the bolt open.

Had no issue with Cross, Lancer advance warfare or C-product LAR on my end. Had a issue with the OEM mag at one point.

Can only get 4 rounds in factory Mag. Decided to try the LAR mag I found in the 5.56 ammo box.

I'll try that but both of these issues were with empty magazines. All others I own would lock in empty with the bolt closed.

As long as they lock in on an open bolt. I have a lot of lar15 mags and not much else.

Anyone waiting for a 16" conversion still? Once those are done we should see 11s shortly after.

1.5-1.75 ish with Federal 62 grain.
2-3 with bulk Winchester, Federal, Remington, Barnaul 55 grain.

Federal as in lake city? What type of federal 62 is shooting well? I think the 75/77 gr match bullets will do 1.5 moa. I will let you know once I mount my scope.

The 62 grain stuff that mine prefers is just the Federal American Eagle (red box). The bulk 55 grainers were also American Eagle.

Im curious how many batches Marstar has booked for the 11" rifles, I only just booked mine a few weeks back lmao

We got a chance to quickly check the accuracy of one of these. The groups were getting tighter as we got used to the trigger but we had to rush and call it early because of a tornado warning. We will revisit this accuracy test when time and weather permit. That said these are the first 25 rounds we fired, didn't even zero the rifle, all shots taken prone from 100 meters, target is 1" grid.

Rifles was a 16" conversion, with Leapers Overbore bipod and a Primary Arms 3-18 FFP scope

Definitively seems to prefer the heavier loads, I'll have to look into those.
