I would like to know what profile it will be. I would hate to end up with a front heavy rifle. From memory the previous DLASK barrels were a heavy profile which I dont want on a run & gun type rig.

I`m in for nitriding too (assuming the barrel profile / weight is good)

If these are being made from scratch, and it didn't add too much cost/time to the process, could the barrels be made like a Faxon gunner barrel, with a government profile thickness behind the gas block, and a pencil profile forward past the gas block?
 
Nitriding would be a big plus for me. It’s basically the very best option out there in every aspect. Having some barrel profile choices would be nice. Light-Medium-Heavy or something. Some will want a DMR, some want a fast “run and gun”, and some would want something in between.
 
First off, thank you all for your support with his project and the kind words, we are going to make this work!

We are still waiting for final spec on the barrels from DLASK. Nitrided in .223 Wylde would be great and may be an option but not 100% sure yet, we should have confirmation on Monday or Tuesday next week.

Please do not call DLASK to ask them questions, they are busy enough as it is working on these barrels.

CZ has told us that if we re-barrel the rifle they will no longer under their warranty. Dlask is providing their regular warranty on the barrel.

The conversion will only be offered on the 16" Bren rifles, the conversion barrels are not compatible with the 8" and 11" rifles.
The ETA will be very hard to predict but we hope to have a better idea of ETA early next week. Sadly getting the barrels made might take a bit longer than initially predicted.

Thanks for the update folks @ Marstar. When do you expect to have all emails sent out to those of us on the pre-order? Don't want to jump the gun and start calling in, on the assumption you've missed some of us.

We are doing them in batches, in order, but we will get to them all shortly.

Not yet, but we are giving priority to those who have a pre-order with us already. They will be back in stock once we have gone through all the pre-orders to make sure we have enough rifles/barrels for everybody.
 
The answer was yes. They just have to wade through the process of verifying who still wants to go ahead then offer the remaining units to individuals who didn’t get n on the initial offer.
