CZ Bren2 Owner: Info, Pics, Mods

I’m kicking around the idea of picking one of these up—most likely an 11” model. I like low-mounted optics on short-barreled rifles and a shorter LOP—am I best off with the “dog leg” style stock or would the "BR" rifle-length stock be a better choice

I'd go with the collapsible carbine stock. A little heavier than something like the G36 stock, but adjustable.

Either of the factory stocks are fine IMO. I had the G36 stock on one, and definitely preferred the factory Cz ones. If I HAD to choose between the factory stocks, I'd say the one shown below.

 
So where are these being sold? Looking for an NR, but the gun shop I frequent said the NR's haven't come to Canada yet, just the restricted ones, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

People have been purchasing R's and doing NR barrel conversions.
 
Found a recent Czech newspaper article I had that says CZUB is pumping em out and re arming Ukrainians as fast as possible. They couldn’t say how fast and when for security reasons. Don’t know what that means for our production run.

Does anyone have any reviews of their dlask NR conversions? I've got a pre-order in with Marstar and am considering going for the re-barrel they're offering. The barrels aren't exactly what I was hoping for (spec wise), but it certainly sounds a lot better than potentially never getting one

It's great for the price considering the other option out there

Dlask is great to deal with, I will never do business with marstar.

Could anyone with an 11" barrel 5.56 Bren 2 confirm the overall length with the stock folded? I see some sites saying it's 19" and others 22".
 
I ordered one, expecting it in April and have been obsessing every day since

Does the gas block vent gas and carbon as bad as the other piston guns available? Is it noticeable or distracting if you’d be using it for 3 gun?

I haven't noticed my 14" venting at all to be honest. I think that you may be obsessing over a non-issue....
