Hey guys. Just wanted to start a post for showing off your CZ Bren 2 rifles.

I finally received my 16” .223 after about 5 weeks from G4C

Wanted to share it. Currently it’s wearing a Leupold 1.5-4
More stuff on the way.

One oddity I found is my .223 gun has a 7.62x39 Gas Regulator with 3 holes

The 3 hole is the newest updated gas regulators BUT dunno why they would put a x39 one in a 223 rifle!.!?! Maybe cuz of the 16" bbl length.
Beauty pic plus already gave ya some love on IG

A NR version with a mid contour barrel maybe able to replace my banned MK12 / SPR clone. Have all these old match reloads got no where to go.

Here is mine 11" 556. took it to the range today and will be mailing it off Dlask Arms to get rebarrel.

well new for me ... even if they adopt it after 2015 events, what i found interesting is the shift to the 7.62x39 not really a western caliber.

Assuming they wanted more stopping power at short range through cover to take out, not wound an opponent in a suicide vest before they set off their charge while still keeping to an intermediate cartridge, they didn't have a choice if they wanted a Bren 2. They could have 300 Blackout or SOCOM, but they would have to source a rifle outside the EU.

EDIT: Looks like H&K now has the HK437 in .300 Blackout, but this wasn't developed until 2021.

i did not know the reflexion about the bren or not but i do not know from inside that national police and gendarme officers complained when they went from the famas or nothing to the g36 as it was only 223/5.56 while the opponents used ak47 obtained in europe mostly france and belgium ... gign being what they are got what they wanted and certainly lighter and more useful than a semi in 308. a shame framce armory for military is no more but at least some operations are using good stuffs.

You are soo right lol, transfer take 3-4month so it's almost spring 2023 lol

If you order now the transfer will likely take 2+ years, not 3-4 months. Not exaggerating.

That’s probably why there are so many of these on the shelves right now in Ontario. I’ve seen many on sale with big discounts and no one is buying those either. No point buying these when they’ll likely be banned by the time the transfer goes through.

I've decided not to wait and see what the government does to decide what I buy or not. Picked up an 11" and will gladly show you pics when the transfer comes through. I will be reaching out to my MP and MPP about denying my ability to enjoy legally purchased property, and that transfers should be done in a timely manner
