CZ Bren2 Owner: Info, Pics, Mods

Europe Outdoor. They also sell the BR stock for a ridiculously low price shipped to Canada (IRG was selling them for $300 USD, it's half the price in CAD at EO). No after market parts, just all factory including the side rails.

My grip took 1 month to arrive by Post. There's UPS/FedEx options but might incur brokerage fees. I also don't know if CBSA will have issues with other parts like firing pins, stocks, and other parts they can ship. YMMV.

Side Rails are pretty much useless without the unique Bottom Rail.... Hence Preston Precision from the USA.

I see you have a habit of ####ting on people's posts where information is given but with no further intent (earlier in this thread someone posted something interesting to them and you said , old news, like everyone is supposed to know everything, and that you know all of these things already, therefore you're... Something? Don't know why you'd respond that way). Whether the side rails are "useful" or not, is up to the person that is shopping. I don't think the side rails from this store are good value when you can get the whole set for the same price or less from PP, but hey, they available - it's a fact.

I also see that you have a habit of dropping photos of your rifles in threads not talking about your rifles (always seeing you dropping photos of your APC308 in random threads). Look i get it, you have a lot of expensive rifles, but at some point these humble-brag just get annoying.

Nah it's good for shooting a Bat plane with that...

Poor, triggered Bonjour34ma, you're breaking my heart. I didn't "sh#t on" anyone's post, I pointed out to anyone contemplating the side rails from Europe Outdoors that they would be essentially useless without the matching Bottom Rail to complete the package. That was true, whether you admit it or not. I did not say you are full of sh#t, I pointed out an oversight with Europe Outdoors' offerings, that you mentioned, period. If you want to take that as some sort of 'slight' then that is entirely your problem. I offer information based on either personal experience or first-hand information, intended to assist others with similar interests. That's it, that's all. I'm not out to lord anything over anyone else, just trying to help those (unlike yourself) who may be seeking information - in this case in a thread regarding the CZ Bren 2, which I happen to own.

As for my photos, I add them to my posts to add interest to an otherwise boring "wall of words". In this case (as always), the photos were very much pertinent to a thread regarding "Bren 2 Owners: Info, Pics, Mods". I spoke to a mistake that I made regarding 2 differing lengths of Rail Screw. I was hardly inferring some sort of personal superiority by discussing my error (as you erroneously contend), but whatever - I digress. I was simply trying to assist others who may purchase the Preston Precision Rails in avoiding the same mistake that I made. The photos that I posted were wholly relevant, and 2 of the 3 were very Rail Screw-specific. So your complaint holds zero water. If you are jealous and triggered because you think that somebody has nicer firearms that you do, then I suggest putting me on your ignore list so that you don't have to see them. Then spend the next 40 years amassing a firearms collection like I have and you can share with others as well. You come across as petty, whiny and envious, none of which are a good look. Just saying.

Lol "petty, whiny, and envious." Exactly the type of response I'd expect from someone that likes to humble-brag. Nah, some people are more private with their collection and feel no need to share everything with the world. So sure, keep thinking that people that find your posts annoying are all just jealous lol. Proves my point of exactly why I find that annoying.

But hey you do you. Whatever floats your boat. It's an open forum so gotta be ok to give and take. Can't wait to continue seeing the exact same photos of yours across 100 different threads on different topics lol.

Now, there's gotta be more new owners of this sweet rifle so let's see more configs and photos!

WRF is a "humble brag", besides being an oxymoron? Is that like "mumble rap" or some such millenial nonsense? Based on what I can interpret from your comments I stand by "petty, whiny, and envious". Like a millennial with a heavy dose of "triggered" snowflake thrown in. But as you said, you do you.

As I said, there is no need for you to see any of my "repetitious" photos - just add me to your ignore list. Quit #####ing about me and just be done with it!

If mine EVER FRIGGING ARRIVE I'll happily post them. These BC CFO approval delays are getting ridiculous!

Yes call them! In the other thread there was reference to the BC CFO's extension - can't recall exactly what, i think 9530 or 9350 lol. That's how I did mine after waiting 3 weeks and said f'k it I ain't gonna keep waiting, and rather be waiting on the phone. It took me over 2 days and maybe 4 tries to get through. Got the approval in email right away - the lady was nice and very helpful!

I don't know what WRF means so I certainly can't be a Millennial? LOL. Humble-brag is a thing - look it up.

Nah, I don't want to add people to the ignore list because I find their posts annoying - that's not reality. I just learn to either mentally ignore it, or bi*ch about it when I get too triggered like in this instance :)

Geez, I didn't even know that was an option - I was under the impression that restricted transfers were just all taking forever these days. Thanks for the advice - I'll try tomorrow. Mine have been sitting with the CFO since mid-July.

My bren finally arrived after a 8 week wait for the transfer. I went with an 11" barrel in 5.56mm. Love it, got a aimpoint comp4 and a mlok hand stop on it. Awesome carbine in my opinion. Points and handles amazingly well. Very well balanced with familiar controls

You are most welcome! I am glad that you found my post to be helpful, as intended. Post some pics once you have the new setup....

BTW - nice carbine, eh?

It's a very nice carbine. Great trigger, well balanced and easy to maintain. The wait was worth it

So I'm patiently waiting for my Bren 11", and I'm looking for suggestions setting it up as an SBR.

Looking to pick up the Sig Romeo5XDR Predator with the Juliet 3x magnifier.

What would you ask suggest for a light mounted at handguard? I don't want to replace the stock handguard as I actually like it. It's small but I'm a small guy so it fits perfect
