One of my shooting buddies and I each have a Canadian 17 ordered. Has anybody on here seen a live one? My friend is the fellow I let shoot my 455 American 17, and he decided he should have one too. :p I tagged a Canadian on his order. :)

I received this exact rifle on Monday, it is a beautiful combo!!! The red colour and the Maple leaf on the stippling is really cool. You won't regret the purchase! The trigger is decent too, much nicer than the 452 Varmint .22WMR I got last week.

I grabbed the same one, but in 22lr from Wanstalls. Ordered it at 4pm on Friday and they had it at Canada post within an hour and twenty minutes from when I completed my order. It arrived on Wednesday and boy it looks really nice. As soon as my rings are in, it's off to the range.

Whuttttt.............no pictures?
Don't make me deww-itt.
You know I will.......................... photos, dagggnabbitt....................:runaway:

Will see if I can get some good pics of my 22 when it arrives this/next week from P&D and see how the red looks in a non-stock-type photo.

I'm tempted by one. I'd like to get the a .22LR barrel for it too, but I'm not seeing anyone selling the barrel swaps. Students can't afford 2 455's. :(

Well, I got my rings in today and just grabbed a 3-9 scope I had laying around. Sighted it in and tried a few brands of ammo at 25 yards and grabbed some pics with the phone. I really like the color. The red is more of a red/brown, so it's not like it stands out as if it were fire engine red.

Well that is jest hoarribble.
Yah dun missed the big bulls eye in the middle...........Laugh2

Dang that's fine shooting.
I had a CZ452 in 17 here for a wee bit of time and it grouped as you posted.
Hard to argue the quality that CZ puts into their petite shooters......other
than that goll dang bolt handle clearance.

Jeez. I have one each of the 455 American .17HMR, .22, .22WMR. Now I can see one each of the Canadians, too. I have a 452 FS, so it would only be fair to have a 455 FS, too...wouldn't it? :p

What rings did you go with? Was there a minimum ring height required to allow for bolt clearance? Will be my first CZ rifle, keep hearing bolt needs plenty of room.

Depends a lot on what scope you use as well. I just put rails on mine so I can have limitless combinations of rings for any scope I wanted.

I use Talley High rimfire, 11mm for the 455 Canadian.

This are the same rings I went with. The scope is from a remington 597 package gun and will be replaced pretty soon. It has quite a bit of room to clear the bolt.
