CZ Handguns

CZ has the best line of handgun and rimfire rifle. I have my 75B for three years and never fail me. Take a look at other forums, CZ get very high respectation.

CZ's are great guns. I have a CZ85 C which is very accurate. Since there is not that much difference between the CZ and the knockoffs, why not buy the real thing?

Just keep a spare slide stop around in case the one in your gun breaks.

I have a CZ75 pre B ,SP01 and a Tanfoglio Stock II , they all work great and they are all staying, I have O problems and anyone that I have seen with problems are usually ammo related (crappy reloads),I don't share anyone's enthusiasm with Norinco.

I wanted a CZ, until I got to try one. Not that its not a great gun, but the ergonomics absolutely did not agree with me.

Like anything, handle one before you buy.

They are alright for the money, but as I recently found out, you get what you pay for. The fit and finish is inferior to West European guns and they often have reliability issues out of the box (most commonly inconsistent ejection). In other words, don't fool yourself thinking you get an HK/Sig for half the price.

CZ id say you get a good gun for your money HK/Sigs you pay more then what the guns worth im buying a gun not a name

Capp, I agree that some of the older CZ's may have had QC issues, but I must disagree with you on this one.

I have owned various USP's (still have em - have never sold a handgun) as well as a Sig 226R, Glock 17 etc etc. Without doubt my SP-01 Shadow is the finest amongst all of them, and this includes fit and finish. I honestly believe that the value and performance that you get out of a CZ 85 Combat or SP-01 can't be beaten when you're looking at similarly priced 9mm's.

There are once a long while that people may experenced a NOT SO NICE CZ due to a problem spring or broken slide stop but it is very minor issue, not really is a design probelm. I am cheap. I don't mind to put one k for a good handgun. I have four handgun which I did tons of research, compare and try them out. CZ to be the best choice. Some may think they are cheap but really is the other over priced or not worth.
I visit several gun site everyday and found lot of people love them and not because they are cheap, because of the accuracy and reliablity.

I bought an SP-01 based on all the positive reviews I've read on this board. I was disappointed with the unit that I received. Not only was it throwing brass all over the place, but the dustcover was machined noticeably thinner on one side. I certainly would not qualify that as the "finest fit and finish".

Also, I don't think that my gun is an isolated case. If you visit the CZ forum (which I should have done before buying the gun), you will see quite a number of posts regarding various reliability issues with CZ-75 guns. Not saying that all CZ-75 guns have issues, but clearly a significant number of them do.

I had an early military CZ85 (Indonesian) and it was a great pistol. I would definitely recomend the CZ85, as long as it properly fits your hand. The civilian CZ's are better guns than the one I had, the early military guns had .357 barrels.
