Im trying to find out why they are so rare here? I have chance to buy one but cant find store prices fo comparison in here, there is plenty of Us info though.

Canada has weird firearm laws that prevent guns like this from getting popular. First of all the standard barrel is too short to be a restricted firearm and needs to have an extended barrel usually a threaded barrel put into it. Second since its very difficult to get a carry licence in Canada small compact pistols are overlooked for full frame competition pistols since you can't carry them but can shoot in competitions with them (at a disadvantage compared to full frame pistols).

In short its not just the Cz p07 duty its any compact or sub-compact pistol because Canada's firearm laws are weird.

But good pistol over all? Should i buy it? Is either this or grand power k100

I owned a CZP07 and loved it. Shouldn't have sold it. Excellent ergos and match accurate. If it is a good price - grab it (if you can stand the looks of the barrel sticking out of the end of the gun because of our asinine gun laws).

I've had one for a while now. Have about 2K through it. Hasn't malfunctioned once. Shoots very well. The trigger is wonderful compared to many of the striker fired polymer guns out there. I bought it new for around $700 and at that price I would recommend it all day long. Saw a couple on the EE recently for really good prices.

I would love to get one of the Gen2 ones with the replaceable back straps. I think that CZ upgraded this one in a couple of other different ways as well. Gotta love that trigger.

I have asked around about the gen 2 and was told the P07 cannot legally come into Canada at all, or there are none in Canada, nor will there be soon. That being said, I picked up a gen 1 and love it so far! Would be nice to get a gen 2...

i bought a p07 duty (gen1) from EE last year. it is, by far, my favourite polymer pistol to shoot. feels like a smaller cz75 in my hand and has a little bit more recoil due to the polymer frame.

like saskcop and North of 7, i would love to get my hands on a gen2.

I just bought a cz75b for an even 500 unfired....eagerly awaiting it's arrival.

Having glock, beretta, sig....I'm just adding to my wonder nines.

Small guns are a pain for manufacturers to import as they have to have a compliant barrel. Second, small guns do not sell well in Canada as we can only use firearms for target practice and not carry. Full size guns in general are more accurate, longer sight radius, and are more commonly used for sporting events. The smaller variants are used for carry, and it is not legal here in Canada, so very few even bother.

I had a PO7 duty. It as a great little gun! I don't really understand why they're now more common/popular/though after. I don't think it's about our cary laws look at Glock 19 every one wants one be lol.

IRUN guns I believe offered them awhile back. They had the threaded barrel and raised suppressor sights. Not sure if I am into all that.

I have one. Bought used on consignment. The previous owner had Mcguyvered the internals, it became apparent after the trigger spring broke, requiring a new frame and a rebuild but I don't regret buying it. It's a very consistent and accurate pistol.

A standard CZ p07 gen 2 would be great! All of the extras for suppressor use are pointless for us here in Canada. It makes sense why they chose that though, it already complies with the barrel length requirement out of the box. Im having a hard time tracking down a spare barrel and a decocker kit as well. It frustrating not being able to find parts for this pistol...
