Anyone doing NR conversions in canada yet?

If it is registered as a pistol you are SOL getting a barrel conversion and re-reg to NR. It needs to be the 16.2" carbine version first.....

Dlask has been getting EVO 3 S1 rifles as donors then putting an 18.7" barrel on them.

I wouldn't buy one imported as a pistol

Edit:

So i bought CZ 5/20 mags from AA and none will fit into the Scorpion. They put a rivet way too high and there's literally no way it can fit in. Wtf?

I’d contact them. I’ve dealt with them before and they were great. I’d say they will give your money back or a partial refund and re-pin them correctly yourself.
You could try filing them down a bit

If the mag holds 5 no more no less the rivet is in the correct spot and will just need to be filled down flat and smooth.

I had a similar issue with them. They'll offer to ship them back to their facility so their guys can address the issue, or offer you a reimbursement to deal with it yourself. Very good people to deal with.

I had to file down rivets on my first batch of IRG mags, and if it's any consolation my last batch was pinned incorrectly to 6 rounds. I returned them, and the fix two months later was a giant rivet that partially blocks the movement of the spring.

I think I'll stick to Canada-sourced Scorpion mags, hopefully pinned the same as the ones from the CZ factory.

Otherwise, AA is pretty great to deal with, so I'm sure they'll offer you a solution, but it looks like you could just file down the rivet until it's flush with the mag wall.

These mags are actually stupid easy to re-pin the factory way versus the rivets. I repinned 5 manticore mags that I got from AA that way and they worked out great. I ended up getting the cost of 1 mag refunded because they came holding 6 also, so it worked out great in the end. The hassle was, well, a hassle but I wasn't about to pay a gouging 60 a piece from Canadian vendors for manticore mags.

If anyone is looking for another vendor who sells fake cans for the scorpion, check out NAAH Tool Works. They were out of stock so I emailed Nate, he made one for me the next day and it arrived a week later. Available in both 18x1 and 1/2-28 threads.
Very happy with the product.
