I have the optic ready version. Love it!
I compete in IPSC, so I’ve updated some bits. Easy parts to get regardless of Trudeau.

The only problem I found is OR version’s slide is a bit hard to operate. The slide of CZ is shallow in first place and the in OR version, they removed the texture

Instead of posting a new thread, thought I'd ask here. Why are the different colored Shadow 2s, i.e. Orange, so expensive? Are they more than just different grips?

I’m no expert at all as this is my first CZ but I think when it comes to the Shadow 2’s there are the ones that have coloured grips that have upgrades or refinements that the basic Shadow 2 does not . Someone on here will chime in on this who would have more knowledge . Check out the CZ website and the Shadows it mentions the different specifications . I have forth coming question concerning my purchase as well .

There won't be a clear cut answer here, I imagine more than half of the owners here are reloaders, and they'll all have their own recipes, comp guys will have the lightest recoiling loads that's still cycle their guns, so e guys might like a little ooomph

Honestly a better question would be what doesn’t. These things shoot!

If you forced me to pick one, Sellier & Bellot 9mm 124gr. FMJ.

no you don't
9mm is one of the most forgiving calibers.
I have shot more than dozen different 9mm pistols with more than 20 different brand/grain bullets. Rarely did I have any problems.

Well it’s here ! What a tank of a pistol that Shadow 2 is ! I must say I really like the feel of it in my hand . All seems good did not have a whole lot of time to look it over , more looking tomorrow . It came with 3 mags !
