$1000 would have been a nice Canadian price.

CZ is great at pressing the lemon to the last drop, especially with the shadow .
but that doesn't mean it's priced "too high". Those folks are welcome to shoot their glocks and M&P's and still have a tone of fun. No one's feelings are hurt.I just love it when guys try to encourage a lowball price before a new gun has landed here. I am pretty sure these same folks will also not be buying any Tanfo or ANY STI for that matter. It's fine if a 2000.00 gun is outside of what someone's wife will allowbut that doesn't mean it's priced "too high". If they think that's expensive I should show them my $8000 SVI single stack 1911. Lol.
Maybe a dummy question but will CZ continue to produce the SP-01 Shadow and its variants?
no single stack worth this price to me, even an SV . maybe a 2011 with the shuman,tri-glide, saberbooth serration, sight tracker an all stainless frame-slide and controls with no plastic grip![]()
......and honestly, the point is i can build a gun as tight and accurate as your SV for the standard ipsc class with a mod'ed STI frame and slide and SV internals for a little more than half the price of your SV as nice and accurate, and maybe more reliable ; some would call it a tweaked STI, which is exactly what the shadow 2 is ; only a tweaked shadow with an increase of 1000$, nothing else.
