Cz shadow owners check your guns

Agreed - post pics - mask any identifying marks if your worried about that - but I'd like to see these cracks so I can look at my own gun.
 
There is no reason not to post pic's for everyone to see. Every consumer should be aware of problems with products and in this case, it is pretty serious. I was actually planning to purchase a CZ Shadow in the near future. Now I have doubt's.
 
I have a shadow and have never had any problems with it... not sure I really understand what the OP means
(and you should really post the pics here, asking people to email you for pics doesn't make much sense.)
 
like anything else made in the multiple thousands, u have good ones and u have lemons. its part of life. ive had 2 shadows before and i would not hesitate to buy another if i shot cz's
 
I'll check my Shadow over, but would be good to know a few things:

a) what ammo are you using? brand, weight, reloads? Is it hot loads or competition loads?
b) how many rounds through the gun?
c) what year/batch/ serial sequence is it from?
d) any extremes on the pistol ( like run excessively hot or left out in sub zero temps then fired?)
e) WHERE are these cracks? Pics will help everyone.

I agree, thats a casting defect, but WOW! I have never seen anything like that before in a pistol.
