I usually shoot .22 pistol. I have a Walther SSP target gun. Not a lot of take up and not much pressure required to make it go bang.
I just tried 4 different 9mm pistols (a S&W, a Berta, a Kimber and a CZ 85) and the trigger pull was so long and hard I had to look to see if the safety was on....pull, pull, pull, pull......no bang. Pull, pull, pull like he'll finally goes bang. Explained by each owner that these are not target but more duty type firearms with lots of take up and 6-8 pounds of pull. Ok, I get it. And I liked shooting the 9mm and 45 otherwise.
But I would prefer a target type 9mm. So is the Shadow a target gun? How would it compare to a Shadow 2 as far as trigger? I see a few Shadows on the EE right now, looks like guys are upgrading to the 2.
I'm looking for opinions on a decent 9mm with a target type trigger. Thanks
Even better would be to try one out....
