My CZ is grouping 3 inches to the left at 25 yards. I removed the retention bolts on the sights and banged on it with a hardwood dowel and the sights refuse to move. Any suggestions?

When we did Euxx's gun I couldn't believe how tight the sight was actually in there. Same issue as you are having and once we got it broken loose the group got centered no problem. Give it a little heat to break the locktight, chuck the slide in a padded vice, and drift it over with a suitable motivator. It will take a little elbow grease to get it moving. This is a 9 round group at 25 yards with my cast lead loads from yesterday. I am pretty confident that it is not my sight alignment, trigger control or flinching that is causing the group to form 3 inches from the center of the target. It has been like this since I bought it. I could not knock the sights in place with a dowel, so I gave up and lived with it like that. I can still hold the A-Zone, but it bugs me that my sights are not perfectly regulated.
Punch it like it owes you money!!!Jay, I have seen fewer more accurate shooters than you,...it is the gun. Don't baby that rear sight, it is meant to be abused. Smack it over.
I ended up buying a big brass punch, and I heated it up with a lighter, then whacked it with a maul eventually the sight moved over.

I think what you meant to say is punch it like a camel that just spit at you! LOL
