CZ Warranty Depot for Canada...

I've had some work done and the turn around was great. The one employee, bigger guy, not the owner is great to deal with. Funny I was in the other day and dealt with a female employee. you could cut the tension in that place with a knife. I felt like I was to get what I needed and get the F@%k out. Too bad there was a nice Savage MkII on the shelf, but didn't dare ask to see it, I don't need crap like that.

I have spoke to the female employee over the phone and in real life at the shop, and I can agree with you.

Never EVER EVER EVER send your firearms to these a**hats.

Let me tell you a tale of my CZ 455. Sit down, grab a drink.

So while at the range with my BRAND NEW CZ 455 I noticed it having a had time unlocking after firing, no biggy it just needs to be worked in I thought.
About 100 rounds later SNAP, the bolt handle broke. Contacted CZ for info on who does warranty work and they directed me to Grech Outdoors.

Call Grech about the work. First guy I talked to was adamant that they do not do work on CZ, had to get another guy who knew what he was doing to get the ball rolling. Good start.

Next they quote me "At least 60 days", "no more then 120". FOR A REPLACEMENT BOLT HANDLE!

So with no other choice I had to send it in. Shipping on me both ways btw.

After 30 days I call them, they say they are still waiting on the part. 45 days, same thing. 60 days, same thing. 120 days and now I'm mad.

After 120 days of back and forth e-mail, calls, and such they tell me "We never received your firearm for warranty"

"WE NEVER RECEIVED YOUR FIREARM FOR WARRANTY"

You don't even know how mad I was. I email them all the shipping logs and proof that they received the rifle, yet they still deny it.

That was the last straw. Lets just say that 2 weeks later and a bit of small claims court magic they are out $1000 and I have a new rifle.

Moral of the story? You're better sending your firearms to the RCMP for warranty work then Grech.

Dlask if you ever can become CZ's warranty centre again PLEASE DO IT.

Grech is an awful place to deal with. It took them 7 months to get a new stock to me when mine chipped. When I politely followed up with them they were curt, rude and unprofessional. I am almost at the point where I don't want to deal with the fine products CZ makes just because of what I know I'll go through if there is an issue. I wrote CZ about it.

Does anyone know who or where to write too at CZ to inform them about the poor service fro grech outdoors as such a nightmare to deal with. And yes the woman who answers the phone is one piece of work.As her lies and BS and don't give a s--t attitude is not helping grech and turns people off on CZ
Why did CZ ever go with grech god only knows was it cost if so CZ is in for one big surprise 2 months and counting I hope grech takes the mounds of dust off my gun before returning it back.

Write to Cz USA. Their contact info is on their site. http://cz-usa.com/company/contact/

Thanks for the info as to who to write to such a nightmare to deal with. Was told march 8th was extractor spring and was ordered.march 16th phoned was told was seers spring and would order shortly.march 24th wrote CZ in chec rep. as do not believe any thing woman at grech says. CZ wrote back to say sent parts into grech 2 weeks ago. March phoned was told waiting for parts told woman parts arrived at grech weeks ago.Woman said oh ok phone back next week.
April 4th phoned back was told oh parts received were from January order now that we have received parts from January order we will be placing our next order of parts shortly which will include your seer spring. Asked how long will it take said oh long time.
2 months now and counting.
Just lies after lies and this don't give a s--t attitude will kill there business. This woman does not belong in customer service as does not have attitude to deal with public as will give grech a already bad name.look at Internet.Just tell the truth like sorry sir we are overworked or missing staff. We are working on fixing the problem and ask for your patience.
But don't take it out on the customer because you can"t stand dealing with the public and take it out on them. What CZ should do is look at other gunsmiths to repair Warrenty parts as one grech outdoors is one to many.Have more than one repair centre will solve the dissatisfaction of CZ owners as grech can not handle all the work.
And get yourself a real customer service person that loves dealing with people not I hate my job and hate dealing with people type person.Someone that says look we are overworked and I apologize for the delay and will do my utmost to get things right.
Not after 2 months forgot to order part and when ever it comes in will put you at bottom of list as we have a lot more people like you that are waiting for repairs.
What can I say??
I have contacted wolverine and am looking for a new gun as for sure will not be a CZ.
So sad as this will come back and bite CZ in the a-s as more people get frustrated.
I think I will wait to see how long it takes these fools to wake up at CZ to realize they need more than one gunsmith in canada to repair CZ warranty service.Or maybe grech will wake up and get there act together and start to give proper customer service.
Sorry to hear about your problems with grech outdoors if it makes you feel better you are not alone as seems there are many more of us out there.

I have had a gun there since Jan 2017. Going to follow up this week.

When you guys wrote to CZ USA to complain about the Canadian service what did they say? Does Wolverine have a contact we can write to and complain to? I honestly wont buy another CZ because of this also. CZ needs to get themselves someone other than Grech.

I heard last week that CZ are looking at another warranty centre for Canada. Writting CZ USA won't do squat they are a seperate entity than CZUB unless you bought a grey market CZ of course

Thanks Wolverine for the update. I think it has really hurt CZ. They have great products, but getting parts or care for their products is an issue. Hopefully this can be solved soon. Thanks for the reply.

Wolverine has to do something as grech seems to be overworked and maybe are understaffed thus causing stress and friction between them and customers. Do not know what problem is but the wait time is way to long as service is so important as selling a gun is one thing but warrenty service is just as important as if take to long will turn people off towards looking at the purchase of another non CZ gun.
If grech is not capableto handle the workload it is better to look at easing there load.
I am sure they do good work but just have to much of it.

I think if you actually contact CZ at http://www.czub.cz/en/kontaktni-formular-en.html/ then "Type of Question", "Complaint" and voice your concerns, it might alert them of the warranty problems in Canada.
