When I bought a new CZ 527 in 7.62x39 from Tenda I found a 3"+ crack running from the mag well bolt hole diagonally toward the for-end. When I contacted Tenda about it they hummed and hawed about it so I contacted CZ directly. The next day I was told to go to Tenda and pick up my new stock, which had even nicer tiger stripes that the original! (And CZ let me keep the old stock, which I repaired, bedded, and added brass pillars. It's now the "hunting" stock.)

Can't complain about service that good, that fast, so I bought a 455 as well.

I checked my CZ455 Canadian and it is a 2015 as well. I might just do what you did with yours, though I’m thinking maybe I’ll just Tru Oil?

Added another CZ to the stable this week too! A 1950 Brno 21H in 7x64 Brenneke! Yummy.

That crack is a problem with a number of 527 in 7.62. A batch went out with that problem, It usually shows up after shooting a low number of rounds
