Recently purchased a CZ550 Medium Lux and am happy with the overall quality. I was a bit surprised to find the magazine floor plate & follower are made of a plastic/polymer. I also purchased a CZ made 1 piece steel scope mount & rings expecting a factory fit.
I'm running into an interference issue. It seems as though there are different tolerances between the machined notch in the receiver and the lug on the scope mount. The scope mount's lug has sharp 90 degree corners while the receiver has machined radius'. This is causing fitment issues as seen in the photos. The mount is sitting at a bad angle and the mount will not clamp into the dovetails properly. I think some time filing the mounts lug can correct the issue, but not at all what I was expecting from a "premium" priced rifle and an expensive factory mount.
Anyone else have a similar experience? Thanks
