Cz858 prices hilarious.

No ones contacted me for my wanted to trade add so.......... No spare cz858 for me. Pretty sure somones better of taking my trade then selling for 600-700 but no ones intrested.

Anyways. No one seems to be intrested to dump em. So there worth more the $850-$900 to sellers.

I agree. Yet people are still buying them on the EE for big asking prices.

Just a Non-Restricted going to a Prohib = Range Only gun (if lucky) makes it worth a lot less in my opinion. People are getting tricked by this Grandfather thing... I hope you guys aren't getting played by it, but my suspicions are that they'll just become safe surfers after a while.

I hope they realise that they are not buying into the entire 12(x) class but only into whatever the CZ and the SA will be respectively.

Have people put any thought into another rifle they own going into the class of the 858? we could all get prohib with something of other.... my MR1, or Tavor for instance....

FFS my 93R17 might go prohib one day....

I suspect swiss owners have more of a spine...

Hmmm...or could it possibly have something to do with the fact that there are 10x as many 858's in the country?

Love it how instead of coming together, many in the firearms community would rather have a #### measuring contest based on the cost/class/style...of firearms we own. We should keep this attitude up as its clearly working for us.:jerkit:

Every time this happens people who don't own something that is
getting prohibited laugh at the person who is getting screwed by the
government because they do.
Divide and conquer is still alive and well in Canada!! Everyone would
like to be able to buy what ever they want, machine guns to shotguns.
But, because of the lack of support from the firearms community, YOU
CAN'T! This lack of support has had its effect since 1978, in limiting
what people can purchase and can continue to purchase.
YOU are not SAFE, look around you, when your turn comes, who is
going to support you!

Divide and Conquer?

We have 3 or 4 useless Gun Orgs. The public voted in gun grabbers with a majority win. What exactly are we supposed to do? Take em' to court? How'd it work out for you old timers shooting FA in the 70's? Do it, you'll be out your legal fees and your guns.

It takes a big man to put a statement out there on the current situation who also has no solution to the current problem. The only solution I know of is to wait until we can elect a Conservative (gun friendly) gov't. Anyone effected by the new prohibition, sue the gov't. I'd contribute even though I don't have an effected firearm, but I'm pretty sure of the outcome.

I hope they realise that they are not buying into the entire 12(x) class but only into whatever the CZ and the SA will be respectively.

Unfortunately a lot of people buying them up at over retail prices think exactly that, that somehow they will get in the back door to rifles of another class.

That is not how these new prohibitions work, each rifle make/type is going to get its own class. Of 12(x)

Canadian gun rights sure heading for a win seeing how much firearms owners support each other and how selflessly sympathetic toward each other we are......

Hey i think he was kidding, but yes, i totally agree with your sentiment. Just because youre not a CZ/SA owner, doesnt mean you shouldnt be worried about the incoming C-71

Don't misunderstand my waiting to buy until after the firearms are prohibited and prices drop as not being sympathetic. It is just bad economics to pay more now.

Does anyone else notice the oversupply on the EE and yet the price gouging at the same time.. I understand there’s a frenzy over recent news. But seriously gunnies, you could pick these up for $500 if you calmed your biscuits. When markets flood the prices come down lol... Enjoy your rifle, and your sales boys.
What is the EE?
