CZ858 wood furniture, where to buy?

Why is everyone buying in USA when you can buy here in Canada. Just wondering what makes you guys do that. We have CZ858 furniture and pretty good one made Czech. I am just wondering what we do wrong?

I'm guessing price? $175 US + shipping vs. your price of $255 + tax+ shipping:redface:

To be honest I just don't like the stock design you guys currently carry other wise I would.

I like the look and feel of the original furniture, just not in beaver barf, some nice simple hardwood stained to russian red is what I'm going for.

Much prefer the wood shown in the "Wood...I've got wood!!!" thread TBH.

All about style for me. Not at all the kind of look i want.

I've also seen at least 2-3 other people ask you if you could do other designs, or say the one you sell is not their cup of tea.

So i'd say thats pretty much what you're doing wrong. A lot of people love and buy the CZ because of its resemblance to an AK...the wood furniture you guys sell almost completely takes that away from the gun.

What I really want is Cz wood furniture. Something like this:

Received confirmation that it was shipped on the 23rd of December. They had to custom cut my order so I figured it would take some time.

I have been tracking the parcel with the tracking number and all looks good.

Just to update everyone:

I received my package in the mail today. I have to say that the craftsmanship and metrials of ironwood designs are top notch. The wood is absolutely gorgeous and has a beautiful gran and the finish of the pieces are amazing with no unwated burrs or edges.

If you looking for custom wood funiture for your CZ/VZ-58 (or an AR-15 perhaps) check their stuff out. Matt is a pleasure to deal with.

Could you post some pictures please ..... ?

Thanks Jacko832

Pics, or it didn't happen! :D

Alright alright!

I wanted to save it for the unveiling of my project but it will be a while before I get around to finishing the wood and installing it on my rifle as I will be away on training for the next couple of months.

Give me chance to take some and get them uploaded.

Pardon the cellphone pictures but it's the best I can do for the moment:

The Skeletonized stock and the pistol grip are M70 tabuk sniper reproductions that I will fit to my CZ858.

As you can see from the pictures above, the edges are crisp and the routing is smooth and without blemishes.

The handguards are made with the same attention to detail. You'll notice that the lower hand guard is a little thicker than usual. They make them this way to ensure rigidity and to minimize heat transfer through the handguard.
