I live in a border town. We used to be able to go "across the river" and buy ammunition, reloading supplies etc. I have been talking with a few in the industry, on both sides of the border and have been told alot of the problems are stemming from Obama's threat to make guns useless by depriving them of ammunition. Considering most of our ammo comes from the Excited States, it only makes sense that ammunition is getting scarcer here. I spoke with one fellow who said that his suppliers are given a sheet of what they can sell on any given day. Not bulk, individual boxes of ammo. Apparently primers are next to impossible to get. He stated that people are hoarding ammunition on an unprecedented scale, especially military calibres.
Locally, ammunition prices have risen approximately 20%. Methinks it's only going to get worse.
