Dangerous game short range match. The challenge is on!

This afternoon with my .416 Wby 300gr TSX @ 3000 fps mv timed from 1st shot -

🔺t = 12.9 seconds to fire 3 shots
group size 3"
score = 3 x 12.9 = 38.7

1st shot likely the one about dead center, 2nd shot a bit too low getting back on target & 3rd shot a bit low...time was ticking working that bolt...

My .338 Win Mag R1 kicks harder than my .416 Wby.

Cool thread! Got me thinking. Have what I believe to be built in 1938 Husqvarna in 9.3x62 as well as an '07 era Marlin 1895G. Marlin feels much quicker than Husky but the 9.3 feels like a time machine to some place in the Africa of years past.

This afternoon with my .450 Marlin BLR timed from when I racked lever to chamber 1st round -

🔺t = 18.1 seconds to fire 3 shots
group size 1.4"
score = 1.4 x 18.1 = 25.34

Ammo: Hornady 325gr LeverEvolution (POI off center b/c zeroed with Buffalo Bore 500gr ammo)
