Daniel Defense

Anyone questioning Dd obviously hasn't spent any time on m4carbine.net or ar15.com.

When I was looking for my first ar I chose them from lots of reseach. Of course back then they were very hard to find here.

I eventually tracked one down at reliable and never looked back. Have another from wolverine now.

If you have done any real research and realize how awesome it is Dd has made as many guns available to canada as they have, at the price they have, when they could quite easily ignore us and sell all they produce in the us at the same price?

Well just buy one and be happy you could.

Bought it nd no this is really the only forum i go on

I just ran a test of some Norinco non-corrosive yellow box. Made lots of noise and velocity, but the group as bigger than I thought possible. See posting "Ammo Results". I suspect the bullet is bad.

I don't know if my Norc yellow box is the same as what is being sold today.

I am not sure what else is available, cheap, but American eagle and Winchester white box comes to mind. I suggest you buy a bit of anything you can find and test it before buying a case.

I almost bought a M4V5, but I found a deal on a Noveske instead. This was my first AR but I definitely see another in my near future and the DD is very enticing.

More like anyone questioning DD has not spent time shooting AR's period to know they are good to go..

M4 carbine can teach a lot but that site is filled with people humping one brand over another and cherry picking info to sell there own...ARF is far worse..

DD is the best for price and to get something good that is not over priced and you actually get more, BCM,LMT are there too in that category as well to name a few.

Im new so i figured asking was better & yes i wanted to buy decent one

So who in here can tell me what mags come with them, dont make sense to me how everything is Magpul on em except the mags.

Cant wait to get a email saying AT15 is in stock

We import the DD guns, they (DD) are not set up to pin mags so we import them with no magazine, we add a mag before we sell them, this is now a 5/30 steel E-Lander mag.

Mags are cheap. I have piles of 5/30 laying in a drawer I rarely use. I do have one elander but I haven't even tried it.
It seems decently made though.

They do come with a pmag from the factory. My original one came that way. As wolverine states they must not want to be bothered with pinning them so they arent sent up here with one now.

I've been on the wolverinesupplies website more than my regular #### website which has led me to question my priorities....that being said, as a noob, i've done enough research based on price and reliability to narrow my first AR down to a DDM4 however as soon as you guys talk technical stuff, brain starts to freeze and I feel a little like Charlie Brown listening to his teacher. Don't fuss, I shall learn however being a noob it will take time. If it isn't so much to ask, can someone give me the "DD AR for dummies" summary of the main differences between V1 through to V5 to help me guide my research? Otherwise I may just make a snap late night ill advised decision to place an order purely based on how pretty one looks. please see previous said reference to ####.

Thanks Flo

The base rifles are the same (DDM4) and the differences lie in the handguard installed on the rifle (V1 through V7) and whether they are standard or lightweight (LW) barrels.
