Dark Days, Panic Buying, What did you get? What did you sell?

not selling anything but would like to get a nice s&w 357 revolver, pickings are slim with the panic buying, hopefully more stock comes in

I bought nothing; might sell a couple.

Thing is that I was counting on selling them once I was too old to participate in the sport; or for my estate to sell for my wife. This can no longer happen. I have a couple I would sell now, but soon they will be worth $0.00; worth less than Prohibits currently are.

I'm not giving that dink any more tax money than I have to.

Likewise, where will we get replacement parts; where will we get reloading supplies? Many of these stores will close if (when) this law passes.

I currently have an AR15 I built that is sitting in my safe, and is currently worth less than sweet-f***-all; I expect my SKS to soon be added to that list as well. They have no money; if they do give us something it will little more than I or my estate will get for my hand-guns.

I have fought this stupidity since the 70's, and continue to support lobby groups and my sport, but am getting tired of it.

Hadn’t had a handgun in years due to not having time with two babies in the house. I decided I needed something that will last a lifetime. Picked up a Wilson combat m92G. Pricy but if it’s my last handgun then it better kick butt.

I found the Glock I was after but an Optics Ready Shadow 2 and 92X Performance are impossible to find in stock. I snoozed and lost I guess.

I sold all my handguns over the last couple of months and then bought a CZ Shadow 2 Optic Ready, black with blue grips and a bunch of Cajun Gunworks upgrade parts.

Yesterday at 6am I bought a second CZ Shadow 2, Urban grey. I then ordered a LOT of CZ spare parts for both and Cajun Gunworks upgrade parts for it.

Went out in search of a .22 revolver of some type, found one I actually wanted but it was used and to put it mildly not well cared for, I might think it had been buried in a damp cache after shooting 100,00 rounds. Would have bought another make but then I asked about what would happen if turd proclaimed all sales and pending transfers illegal while the transfer was awaiting processing (looks to be a months long process for sure). The LGS told me they would keep both the money and the gun, ding ding ding no sale. Another LGS, a large one this time, the staff had no idea of what they had in stock and told me to email a want list. Went to to Bass Amateurs, the mega store that so often don't care, and encountered Ted Kazynski's local disciple or I would have bought a rifle or something, since I was keyed up to spend some $$ I'd freed up. Came home with money intact but no new gun of any sort. Money now back losing 6-8% annually again, frustrating but that's what living in the Turd Age means.

Haven't been as into handguns since I moved away from Calgary because indoor ranges are a must in the winter there.

Since then I sold a few to friends to get them into the sport, but now I'm regretting it. Worst regret was giving up the HK P7, but I've always dreamed of owning a Sig P210. Looks like I've missed that boat.

I really don't get the market...

I can see that if someone doesn't have a handgun, going out and maybe buying a cheap .22 or a bare-bones striker 9 to get into a 12-X class if that is what the gobberment does.
Likewise with buying your dream gun....maybe...

But, I think if they get their way (Poly, et el....and there is every indication the Libs are bending to their thinking), the Liebrals are more likely to chuck this whole mess into the buy-back.
They are printing money faster than they can spend it, so that printed cash is going to soon be worthless anyhow...might as well blow it on grinding up guns.

Speculating on being able to keep and shoot them? Presently I think that isn't going in our favour, and the guys asking previous market value for their stuff are living in a dream world.

Meh. Maybe. Far more "scary" full and converted autos have been rotting away in safes since the 90s. I think they're happy to wait us out. It's only what, 60ish years until the last restricted hits the smelters unless the conservatives overturn this law.

I 100% feel your pain on the P7. I wish I knew what I was thinking when I sold that off. Now to get back in would cost double or more...

All those prohibs are with folks that are in their 50s plus. They are currently out of site, out of mind - if you believe that. The libs will OIC their hand-in and destruction at the same time as the 1500 they announced a couple of years back...and don't forget that poly has been bleating for more blood (check their website).

Worst thing is I traded that one for some thick barrel Remington 700 dime a dozen rifle when my buddies were getting into long range. Now good luck finding one, let alone consider the price range. Sigh...

Ruger Mark IV Tactical, CZ Shadow 2, a CZ Kadet kit for my Shadow 1…and the wife bought a Phoenix Redback Optic ready.

Expensive couple days.

After Ruger came out with the 22/45 mk 4 tactical I really wanted one even though I've got a mk3 tactical. Loved the easy takedown so when turd announced the ban I started looking a day ago and found only one at rdsc. Bought it! Now the wait.
