The magazines are going to be shipped to the exporter next week. After that it could take a couple weeks to get the paperwork sorted out and have them sent up to Canada. Typically whenever a shipment containing backordered items reaches our facility all backorders are shipped that same day.

I think you need a center feed system with metal magazine wells for this to work. If your Savage can take a model 10 4-round mag, then it should work.

I guess it won't work for me. Mine is a .308 center feed with metal magazine well, but it's a long action. If you ever carry a long action version PM me and I'll order one.
 
Just to clarify;

Are these mags for rifles such as the (currently produced) Savage Axis bolt-action rifles?

Well, I'll be the first to admit it: I was wrong. I could have sworn that my beloved Savage was a 116, but tonight I looked at the barrel stamp and it's a 16......so it's a short action! I'm going to the NR site right now to put my order in. Woo Hoo!

Fyi, these mags are top top top quality. Ive purchased 2 x 10 rnd 308 mags directly while in new york from Dark Eagle Custom. These are well made, great craftmanship and have had no problems. Ive run 120 rounds through them with no issues.

Im using them on a Savage 10TR 308 24".

Its nice that we now have access to savage mags in Canada considering how rare they are.
