After talking with Casey at Tactical Ordnance and telling him what I wanted built, he built a Canadian version of the DARPA rifle. The inspiration was the XM 3 from Iron Brigade Armory, and while it took some time to get all the parts together, it does not have the hefty price tag that Iron Brigade Armory attaches to their rifle. Casey did a fantastic job his attention to detail was phenominal and on budget.

Fantastic work Casey and gadget!

Where is the Surefire FA762SS in your picture? :) Are you going to post the specs/component list for your build?

TR1

Funny guy asking where my FA762SS is:kickInTheNuts:, the rifle started life as a Remington 700P with a 26 inch barrel, Casey cut and re-crowned the factory barrel installing the Surefire muzzle-break, installed the over-sized bolt handle, Ed Begg 700 magazine adaptor kit fitted to stock & rifle, the original H&S Precision stock replaced with the version ridding on the 700 Milspec, M24 McCann rail system, Nightforce NSX 3.5-15x50 with NP-R2 reticle & Nightforce rings, harris bipod & Eagle cheek piece, then it was parkerized and KG Gun-Kote OD green. It has only been test fired to check how effective the Surefire muzzle-break is, hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will have a chance to stretch its legs.

nice build, looks very "bush" friendly.

but why did you have to post links ?!?!?!

now you have me looking at a "ANPVS-22 OSTI Universal Night Sight"

UPDATE!!!

How's it shoot, and more importantly, how does the Surefire brake work? I'm getting Casey to put one on my LTR right now. :)

Great looking piece. More importantly, how does it shoot? I love the rails for the cosmetic look but I personally wouldn't have the need or the money to waste buying them.

Too bad we aren't allowed to own suppressors in this country. The pussifies English & French are allowed to do so but we are not. Something really screwy about that.
