After talking with Casey at Tactical Ordnance and telling him what I wanted built, he built a Canadian version of the DARPA rifle. The inspiration was the XM 3 from Iron Brigade Armory, and while it took some time to get all the parts together, it does not have the hefty price tag that Iron Brigade Armory attaches to their rifle. Casey did a fantastic job his attention to detail was phenominal and on budget.

, the rifle started life as a Remington 700P with a 26 inch barrel, Casey cut and re-crowned the factory barrel installing the Surefire muzzle-break, installed the over-sized bolt handle, Ed Begg 700 magazine adaptor kit fitted to stock & rifle, the original H&S Precision stock replaced with the version ridding on the 700 Milspec, M24 McCann rail system, Nightforce NSX 3.5-15x50 with NP-R2 reticle & Nightforce rings, harris bipod & Eagle cheek piece, then it was parkerized and KG Gun-Kote OD green. It has only been test fired to check how effective the Surefire muzzle-break is, hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will have a chance to stretch its legs.
