Date and Time for IPSC Nationals in 2011

Is there any other hotels close to this one,..I called the match hotel, but they only have King size with pull out. I never inquired about the government rate.

Might want to check out the Days Inn, it's just down the road from the match hotel and was the match hotel in 2006 when Kingston hosted the last time. They had a nice outdoor pool as I remember. :welcome:

I remember staying there in 2006,and it was not bad...but online reviews are pretty bad.
There are a few there...like the best western...etc...I will keep looking just in case.

Kick back ?

Very surprised that the Match Hotel still costs $10 more than the Govt Rate.

Govt Rate: $119.00
IPSC Cdn National Rate: $129.00

Not saying this is the case... but someone may be getting a kick back..?
I do notice that sometimes, not always, match hotels usually do not have the best rate if compared to expedia or other sites...

It also isnt the same as the CAA rate, what is your point? They have different rates for different ppl, that is the hotel's choice and nobody elses. Maybe you should create a formula to calculate hotel rates like you did for match fees and see if they want to use it?

Ya, o.k. I was just replying on the fly to some post about rate could of been less...
And I should know better, especially when I'm not sure what the rates are...
I think rates are $129 ? if so, then it's great deal, as the std. room posted rate is $159.

FINAL CALL FOR OFFICIALS

The 2011 IPSC Canada - National Championship will be utilizing a “Nationals Staff” that will be dedicated to officiating the entire competition.

We are currently accepting applications for twenty-six (26) current NROI certified range officials for the positions of Chief Range Officers and Range Officers.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please read through the information posted on the Canadian Nationals Website found here:

http://www.ipsc-ont.org/2011/nationals/
Submit your application via mail, fax, or email to number/address provided in information package.

Applications must be received by June 1st, 2011 for consideration.

I personally encourage all current NROI Officials to apply. Help make this years’ National Championship the best ever!

Those not able to commit to the Nationals Staff program will have an opportunity to RO and earn their 3 points as a "walk on official".

PLEASE NOTE: If you have submitted your application, you should have received a confirmation email from me confirming that I received your application. Please contact me, if this is not the case. (Also note that if you hand delivered the application to me, an email confirmation did not get sent to you... kind of redundant.)

FINAL NOTE: If your Section Coordinator did not inform you about this opportunity, take it up with him/her. Info was sent to all SC's weeks ago.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our great sport here in Ontario.

Sincerely,

Phil Carreira
NROI Coordinator
IPSC Ontario

I'm shocked I don't have a hundred applications for these positions considering all the incentives that are included. (Hotel for 6 nights, match fee, staff appreciation dinner with transportation... just to name a few.)

You all must have won the lottery and forgot to share with me.:kickInTheNuts:

Update from the match web site:

2011 Nationals Match is full, all registrations received after June 1st will go on the waiting list. You will be notified if you are on the wait list and again notified if a spot becomes available.
