To bad you won't be able to get a Canadian one, you can make one look like an FNC1
i take it you didn't serve with one- well, they ALL can be converted in SECONDS to full auto WITH BITS FROM YOUR RAT-PACK - a matchstick, piece of tin can, or just about anything with the right dimensions stuck in the proper place will accompish this feat- and typically your w/o or senior nco KNOWS where to put it- he then passes this 'KNOWLEDGE" ON TO LOWER ranks- by the end of basic , everyone including the office clreks knew how
Last time I checked converting to full auto was a criminal offense.. and hopefully that will change with time too.. but charge the intent, not the posession.. Just because someone COULD make a FAL full auto does not mean they WILL.
Here's where a bunch of politicians run to the RCMP with evidence that the M14 is similar to the FAL in basic description and they turn around and prohibit M14's instead of de-prohibiting FALs.
Although I'm totally behind this. Not a lot of interest in "service rifles" from me in general, but the possibility of a FAL would change my mind right quick.
Im currently working on one as we speak .
Quick question , are you allowed to send letters to MPs that arent in your riding , my MP is peter milliken and he is apparently a FAR left liberalist. so fat chance of him even reading my letter.
If the FAL gets de-prohib, I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility to see companies like Dlask making their own versions of the rifle. The Canadian FAL could rise again...
I think we should first focusing on getting the AR unrestricted. Baby steps people!
No only in the coverted autos is this an issue. There are models that were built semi auto only that cannot be converted to full auto.
