35 bucks a box for 9 mm is brutal....Canadian Tire here sells S/B 9mm for around 18 dollars per box.......
 
It's a new gun until it's owned..I respectfully disagree. Floor models and open box items are generally discounted in all forms of retail.

I would agree that there are items that are New In Box (sealed) and New in Open Box (handled). The 2 items do not have the same value.

If its 800$ for a sealed box, and the same 800$ for an open box..any consumer would take the sealed box..the only reason to take an open or previously handled item would be a discount.

smally, its ridiculous that you have to explain this. there are a lot of dealer apologists here.
 
Well boys sorry to break it to you, but when I don't know you, post count is a version of credibility on a forum.

Why might you ask? Because if you cant be bothered to take time to participate in a forum you voluntarily joined but have time to post complaint messages about how you got shafted, why should I care? My initial impression of you will be, that you are a whiner.

If you want me to care about you or your issues with a dealer, post some messages first, join some debates, argue with people wether your right or wrong and put a personality you handle. Then start slagging people. Otherwise your nothing but a newby with a complaint with zero credibility.

Im still waiting to see pictures of this damage that warrents a 25% refund. By the way, not all floor models deserves to be discounted for a sale.

Now if you will excuse me, I need to go create a second account and complain about Goble's world class service. Everyone here can at least jump on that band wagon.
 
Every member has the right to post here as long as they follow the forum rules.
If someone doesn't think someone elses is credible then ignore his posts and move on.
I personally have been shooting guns and hunting since the early 1960s and I don't buy guns sight unseen on the internet.
I buy guns face to face from a dealer or private seller where I can see and check out what I'm getting and who I'm getting it from before any money changes hands.
 
what if two people are having an internet tough guy argument and one has more posts and the other has a higher feedback score?
who are the popcorn eating public supposed to take more seriously? who has the higher cgn cred?
is there something in the faqs for that?

+1 here. I'm a busy guy professionally and personally and am an active member of several information technology community forums providing assistance and support where my post count is much higher and I guess my "street cred" is better I suppose because my "Best Answers" and "Helpful Posts" count is ridiculously high, because that is what I am best at. I guess because I don't post here all that often means I am either just a whiner (check my post history, zero whining and plenty of rah-rahs for vendors) or a complete newby (it is spelled newbie). Might as well become a more active member of this site by posting something nonsensical! :)

If you've got something to say say it.
