I have recently <2 months> purchased a CZ 712 from P&D Enterprises in Edmonton, took it out of the box today at the range loaded it up with 4 shells 3" #2 winchester super x , shot them and worked exc, no troubles did this again 2 more times loaded up for the 4th time got one shell out then the brand new 712 WOULD NOT PICK UP ANOTHER SHELL, cleared it and checked action for any issues all good loaded again shot one round it would not pick up another shell again did this again 3 time each time getting more pissed off , I thought CZ was of better quality, cost enough, as it were I got to fire 16 shells out of my brand New CZ 712 POS 12 GA should have went with the 180 dollar cheaper mossberg 935 I guess

A shotgun is a mechanical device; shyt happens and sometimes they don't work as they are supposed to...

Read your owners manual? Look on Youtube/Google it to see if anyone else is having problems.

If you can't figure it out take it back as you say it's only <2 months> old.

And then the fight started.

Hence us old folk who have nothing but praise for the
well s'perianced gals.
Old chit is good chit.
Warranty and do wear a smile.
It does make a difference.

Bring it back from the dealer you bought it, he will either take it back and refund your money, repair it at the local shop, or send it in for Warranty work? This is how the gunshop I help out at does buisness.

good luck Dale Z!

I emailed CZ they said they can't do anything cause I bought in Canada, its not a mag tube issue its the sorry I don't know the name for it, the piece that lifts the shell into the chamber, I'm not a gunsmith so I am not going to tear this thing down I really don't wanna void any warranty either

I don't understand. Are they saying that guns sold in Canada have no warranty? I can't believe that. If that is the case, I wouldn't buy another CZ if it was the last gun made, and I had 2 of them.

Just got off the phone with my gun dealer, they say they can't do anything and gave me a number for a warranty place in Quebec called cfram, I'm a Lil bit choked I have to mail on my dime across canada, for warranty don't get me wrong I understand I know guns have issues just a Lil pissy about warranty procedures

Wow, when I bought my CZ's, an over/under and a SxS, from 2 different dealers, both said if I had any problems to bring it back to them and they would look after it. But I never needed warranty.

The cz warranty place is not cfram anymore. They moved it to dlask arms in Bc.

Call another shop that sell CZ and see what their warranty policy is. If thats the way they do business in Canada it will make me think twice about ever purchasing one.

Yes, if this is the way warranty is handled on a 2 month old gun, coupled with the now poor selection and avaliability of models in Canada, all I can say is I don't know what's going on with CZ in this country. But I would be a little ticked at the dealer as well if that's how they look after a customer after the sale in such a short period of time.

It's strange they would give you the CFRA location, they should know where the warrenty service comes from or they don't sell many.. but not excuseable, perhaps you spoke with a junior sales person.

I possibly could have silver fox, I contacted another CZ dealer they clearly stated dlask is they're warranty people so I contacted dlask a very nice gentleman there said mail it to him and he'll take care of it. I also looked at my invoice to see purchase date of the gun I bought it on March 23/2013 just a few days short of the dealers 30 day policy, my luck will never change lol

I would ask the dealer to send it away and dicker the freight.
It could be possible the return of your firearm may come quicker
if they send it in.
Too bad the dealer didn't offer to call CZ and see if they would okay
a swap on this issue.
Sometimes some :bigHug: should be done to help a customer along.
The time frame is just too short to ignore and not to forget the low
round count.
I wish you well and hope it turns in your favor.
Cheers.

That would be nice, I'm just going to send it away to the nice people at dlask hope for a quick return, get it back and practice my skills at Skeet killing , as was my intention in the beginning, and hopefully be able to use in the fall on waterfowl, then take my new gun buying/ warranty experience and call it that an Experience, my intention was not to slander anyone in the making of this thread, just to more or less let my fellow gun owners/new buyers my trouble and frustration with this product
