Decisions.. Decisions.. Winchester SX3 vs Remington Versa max..

If a person has money to waste ,and he wants to abuse a shotgun to see if it will fail, then that is up to him. However ,I would never purchase a used firearm from that person.

Come on now.:) Toss that old X3 of yours in the salt water a few times. I heard that they float and shoot just fine after. What do you say ;)

Humm, interesting no mention of that before and I quote you He never clean it, dropped in in salt water a few times
Must have a lot of accidents I guess
Any way I have my opinion and you yours has nothing to do with being on a high horse

It proves the versamax has a great finish because when you are waterfowling accidents happen and it could fall down in water. I never said I endorsed never cleaning your guns but it further proves that point.

I worked too hard to make the money to purchase that SX-3 than to do something that stupid.:p

And had I accidentally dropped that shotgun in the water, I would have stripped it down and clean and lubed it, as soon as I got home.

I guess if that is important to you when buying a shotgun to me it is fit fit fit anything else is gravy . Remington obviously did not care about finish or they would have never released the 870 express
Talk about an interesting finish on a waterfowl gun and how many millions of those are out there working fine

The Versa Max is a great gun that can handle anything regardless if you clean it or not.
The issues people talk about were in 2010 and everything was solved with it by 2012 models. They were issues with the forearm getting loose and bolt handle getting loose on some.
Either way, they addressed everything.
